My friend Nathalie made a list of her 100 all-time favourite songs and I just couldn't resist doing the same. The year 2024 is not over yet, so I can't make my Things Of The Year 2024 lists, and that's why I'm doing this instead.
I've decided to present all the songs in the order of their approximate release year. It was not an easy task to restrict myself only by 100 tracks — even by only choosing 1 song by each music artist I already had ~150 songs in my notes file an hour and a half later. There were just too many categories that I needed to look into!
While making this list I came to realisation that I could make so many cool dj mixes using the songs that I picked (which I will still make) without spoiling my track selection, lol. But it's my personal blog, and that means sometimes I gotta take pleasure in directly sharing the stuff that I like here.

In case you would like to listen to these songs in a continuous manner, I've created two separate playlists, as usual, for Bandcamp songs (uhhh.. BNDCMPR doesn't seem to work now, so I'll try later), and for YouTube songs. Yay!
P.S. It took me so long to make this post edited like this... I started writing the song list in Obsidian, but then realised that I would still have to copy everything to a spreadsheet, because it would be able to sort the tracks by the release year, and then I could export the spreadsheet data into a JSON file, using my favourite extension tool Export Sheet Data, but then I had to learn how to actually render all the JSON data on my blog page the way I wanted it to look like. And that's why I had to spend more time learning about Liquid and the way 11ty uses it. It took me some time that I didn't want to waste on such post, but in the end I learned new things and now appreciate 11ty and static site build engines even more! They work like magic... *-*
