Presenting to you a Chobits AMV I made during one long night when I was 15. To this day I'm still impressed by how lucky I got with the crowd shots I found to go in sync with the song's meaning.

I didn't want to upload the AMV as is, especially since I initially made it in Windows Movie Maker, so I've actually translated the song lyrics to English and made hardsubs for them. These are my first subs for a video! New skill acquired :)

And yeah, if you've noticed, the first couple scenes are actually from Black Lagoon for some reason. I guess I couldn't find enough crowd shots in Chobits? Or maybe I was going with a whole different idea at the beginning.

P.S. I actually had to remake the video project in DaVinci Resolve, because I accidentally converted the original 25FPS video to 30FPS in ffmpeg, made the whole thing, noticed that it stutters, and had to do everything again (except for the subs, I've just reimported them) with a new properly converted source video. And I had to use a semi-transparent background for the subs because my source files for the AMV back in the day had hardsubs as well, so I needed to cover them now for readability.
