My first favourite album of 2024. I've been waiting for new music from Lena Tsibizova since her "3rd track" album from 2019 that I love very much, and this collaboration with Piper Spray blew me away completely. I also didn't know that both these artists actually worked under the AIR Krew name — another important to me experimental ambient project.

A really interesting alt rock album from Omsk, Russia with a lot of saxophone and a lot of unprocessed feelings of the vocalist. The song "кажется, я устал" will never leave my head now I guess.

I've found out about DJ Birdbath on soundcloud relatively not long ago and they've easily become one of the most interesting ambient music producers to me. Beautiful collage music with occasional breaks.

This fucking album was suggested to me by the youtube algorithm, and completely shifted my perception of Russian music (yet again and again and again). I've never heard of Золотые Зубы before, but now I'm the biggest fan and a potential imitator.

Never listened to A G Cook before, even while dwelling deep in the hyperpop / future bass / bubblegum pop tunnels back in mid-2010s, but this album was on repeat, helping me fight stress last spring. I like to think that its three part structure works as a kind of introspection on the artist's long history of making music. I was also surprised by how sad and emotional it turned out to be.

Really fucking good breakbeat hardcore from a cool queer furry music artist. I feel like I must add that I saw this release on cohost first, and I just can't get over the fact that we could see a lot more cool new music being shared there if the place still existed today.

A fun glitchy electronic album by tuna, released on Altamira Records — a relatively new electronic music label to look out for! This particular album reminds me of a lot of the early 2000s electronic music that I used to dig into during my uni years.

Beautiful bedroom emo album <3 I've been listening to *your arms are my cocoon* for quite some time already, especially their self-titled album, but this release left an even bigger impression on me than their previous ones. Hope I can see them playing live someday!

This music album by Dialect feels like his most grandeur one so far. So many different instruments intertwined in each track, such a powerful emotional journey throughout the album. I really enjoyed the amount of wooden flutes in this one.

This new Origami Angel album can't beat my love for GAMI GANG, but "Where Blue Light Blooms" instantly became my favourite song of theirs. I can't stop loving it T__T
Also I almost went to see them during their European tour supporting this album but fell ill...

The legendary **hard ambient** artist Bug Bus Piano apparently released what is called "the first LP" in 2024?? It's definitely his first vinyl release that I remember! Really enjoyed the balance of noise and gentle melodies in this one.

An amazing minecraft-inspired ambient album made by a friend of mine. Gentle melodies that evoke the same feelings as getting out of a random cave in the middle of the night (in peaceful mode) and finally seeing the moon and flowers after an hour of mining.
